INTEGRATIONS & COST CATALOG

Your material costs are only as accurate as your cost catalog — and if you're manually entering supplier prices, you're already behind. JobTread's supplier integrations, web clipper, and bulk import tools let you build a live, accurate cost catalog without the tedious manual work.

METHOD 1: NATIVE SUPPLIER INTEGRATIONS

JobTread has direct integrations with several major suppliers. Once connected, you can pull live pricing directly into your cost catalog and estimates.

To connect, go to Settings → Integrations in JobTread and follow the authentication steps for each supplier.

METHOD 2: THE JOBTREAD WEB CLIPPER

For suppliers without a native integration, the JobTread Web Clipper browser extension lets you import product details and pricing directly from any supplier's website. Browse the product, click the clipper, and the item is added to your cost catalog with the current price.

How to Use the Web Clipper

• Install the JobTread Web Clipper from the Chrome Web Store
• Log in with your JobTread credentials
• Navigate to any supplier product page
• Click the clipper icon and review the captured details
• Map to the correct cost category and save

METHOD 3: BULK CSV IMPORT

If your suppliers provide price lists (most do as Excel or CSV on request), import them directly into your JobTread cost catalog via the bulk import tool. This is the fastest way to get a large catalog built quickly.

Tips for a Clean Import

• Map columns correctly: item name, description, unit, unit cost, and category
• Clean up inconsistent naming before importing (e.g., decide on "LF" vs "Lin Ft")
• Import in batches by category so you can verify each group
